Hi — I just recently found this page. I love The Inspired room but haven’t been seeing her recent posts on Facebook. Anyhow – this rather blurry photo was taken with my phone this morning. We are an Active Duty Army family currently residing in a “suite hotel” while waiting on military quarters/looking at possibilities off post at our new location. I just wanted to share that even temporary quarters can be home and made lovely. I picked up this pink geranium yesterday in an effort to make things pretty!

I respect military families for many reasons, one of which is the sacrifices you all make in terms of putting down roots. Takes a very special kind of woman to keep making homes as the Army bounces you hither and yon every year or so, and I thank you for your service.
Gorgeous! I have had many military families as neighbours and it always amazed me how quickly they could adapt to new surroundings and make their new place a home! Welcome!
