Recently I created a gallery wall of family and installed it in our entryway. This is important for us as we continue to blend two home into one and I love the sense of family portrayed here. This photo is how it looked after my 10-year-old guy finished dusting for me, so itβs not exactly perfect and there is a DVD on the stand, but itβs fairly noramal for us.
If you are standing at my front door, you can see straight through our home. I do like the open view from the entryway, past the staircase, through the living room and out the large windows that highlight our forest view.
Someday, I hope to add a longer entry table. This is also part of the home I would love to paint. In fact, I canβt wait! I want to lighten it up with a gray tone.
Thank you for looking! Iβm daily choosing to love this home that I have! I have always appreciated this fun, arched front door!
There is something so comforting about a collection of family photos, isn’t there? Lovely display. And I LOVE your front door, Missy – so charming! π
Thank you, Tonya! I feel silly posting my photos with all the lovely decorators here … but I’m learning to love what I’ve got!
Don’t feel silly! We all have homes in progress – it’s part of the fun. Keep posting girl! π
No better place to feature your wonderful family than the entry! Love that! And the arched door is so pretty! Keep the pictures coming π
I love your arched door! Great job on the picture wall!
Hi Missy! That is a great way to display your photos,! And THAT DOOR! My dream is to have an arched door. π Thanks for inviting us in to your entry! π
Yep, I agree with all the others. That arched door is amazing. I hope you smile every time you walk through.
Hey Missy! What a lovely entry you have. I love the architectural details throughout. An arched door is something special. I think this family gallery is a wonderful choice for welcoming visitors!
Also, I’m pretty impressed that your ten year old was dusting! One of my grandkids would be keen for that job but not the other two! π
