This my youngest son and I sitting on the front steps of our home on a very mild day this winter. We moved into our home one year ago, and after many moves (14) I have tired of starting over. It takes me so long to settle in – and it’s hard work. This picture reminds me to keep going because it was taken after we had just served hot cocoa to my oldest son’s entire freshman geography class on our front lawn. This represents a piece of what I want our home to be; a place that is full of life and draws people in. We’re just beginning to thaw out from the long winter here. The snow is melting, the neighborhood is coming alive again and I think I’m feeling a bit rejuvenated too!
I love this! Such a sweet description of what you want your home to be…”a place that is full of life that draws people in”. Thank you for sharing 🙂
This looks like so much fun! I can’t relate to the snow at all but I can totally appreciate you wanting to share a sweet moment with your pumpkin. He’s SO cute! Hope you guys have a great weekend, Coco
Love your cozy front porch. The wreath, the little tree, and those red candles are totally adorable. This little scene definitely creates a sense of inviting warmth.
That is one Instagram worthy picture! Gorgeous. Just gorgeous. I look forward to seeing more of your home, especially if it is as pretty as that porch!
Nice! I can tell by the smiles that your home is a happy one! Attractive entry Sharon! 🙂
