My Mom only had one cookbook, Household Searchlight, copyright 1934. Our favorite recipe to make together was Chocolate Fudge. You can tell by the well-loved smudges on the pages. Sometimes it would turn out perfectly, other times we would laugh and just pour it over ice cream. Lovely memories.
