Inspired by a tutorial for a hanging botanical print, I created these maps from pages out of an old county map book. You can see the whole story and learn how to make your own (it’s super easy!) here http://www.rusticandwoven.com/?p=373.

Great job, they look like little scrolls and make a great grouping above the bed.
Thank you Deanna! 🙂
What a wonderful backdrop for your bedroom. I love old maps!
Hi Tanya! What a Great Idea! The maps are the perfect addition to your already warm and comfy looking room. I like your color choices for this room too. Very tastefully done!
Thank you so much Maria! It was a surprisingly simple project that even someone as DIY challenged as myself can accomplish in little time. 🙂
I have been collecting botanical prints and waiting to buy a bunch of frames. (Don’t you just wish $ grew on trees? I hate waiting!) This is a great idea to get them hung! Ok.. You copy the kitchen lights and I am copying this! 😀
You got a deal, Nila! 🙂
Maps add color, interest and detail without overwhelming the rest of the room, don’t they. Love your special treatment. Well played.
