My Camera Shy Girl

This is Maggie…She does NOT like to have her picture taken. She is sitting in front of one of #myfavoritecorner in the house. This is where I sit after walking in the door from work. The dogs say hello and I catch up with my daughter to hear about her day.

Miss Maggie here is now an old lady of 13 years. She came to us when she was only 3 and had already led a sad life. We rescued her and she has been a great gift to our family. Lucky I was able to snap a picture before she new what I was up to!

Oh so sweet. I don’t know what it is like to have a pet. I have 3 young children, and at times I think they are worse than pets. I like your corner; it looks comfy, lived-in, and inviting. I noticed your wood furniture. I like wood furniture, brown especially.

I agree Hahn, kids can certainly cause lots of messes…even when they’re not so little;)
We do enjoy this space, thank you for checking it out!

Awww, love your cute old pup! I lost my sweet old yellow lab in Sept. She made it to age 14. I miss her so much! I agree with Hanh, your corner looks so comfy.

Oh Bren, I’m sorry you lost your sweet dog. They are so dear to us aren’t they? Always happy to see us…no matter what! Have a great day.

That’s a great corner, Amy! Your description just brought back some very fond memories for me. I have a photo of my mother sitting in just such a chair after a long day at work. She looks very tired with her eyes closed, after standing on her feet all day. I’m sitting on the arm of the chair, playing with her hair. Those corners in the home are the best!

I think Maggie is trying to will you to set down the camera, sit down in the chair, and rub her sweet ol’ ears. And what a beautiful spot you have to do so.

Great chair! This room has a lot of great layers and is very inviting, but it also feels like a family home with spaces that are really lived in. Love all your shots.

    Hi Amy,
I totally understand about having a furry child who doesn’t like the camera. My Grayson is the same way. He sees it and runs! Your Maggie is adorable! What a lovely way to come home.

Hi Wendy, it’s strange isn’t it? Our other dog, Zoey, doesn’t mind the camera a bit but we joke that Maggie thinks the camera steals her soul! 🙂

Hi Amy, it’s crazy! Doesn’t matter if it’s the phone or regular camera, once he notices you, he gets up and walks away. My other dog, Cooper, will let you take his picture all day! Sounds like your Zoey. Needless to say whenever I get a cute photo of Grayson it’s cause for celebration! =)

So funny Wendy, that is exactly what Maggie does… it’s like she knows even before we start.. sometime if I put my phone on silent I can sneak one in! I would love to see pics of your pups!
