Hi there,
I really like the idea of joining this new neighborhood. I am lucky to already live on a great cul-de-sac where we are all friends.
We have been in our house for almost fifteen years and am I constantly changing a little thing here and there. Unless it’s winter, spring or summer break from school…then my husband and I (we are both teachers) usually have bigger projects underway.
This is the view as you walk in the door to our house. We just had new floors installed last summer. The green couch was in my grandma’s house in Chicago, but now lives with us in Southern California. The other couch belonged to my mom’s best friend’s mom who was like another grandma to me. I love to have this furniture with such sentimental value.
Our dining room has hosted many, many holidays, dinners and other parties each year. The next one will be this weekend.
Look forward to meeting everyone…
The open feeling in your home is great! And I absolutely love the green couch and that teal rug. Thanks for sharing a peek into your home.
I like the open-floor plan of your house, similar to mine. Everything looks in symmetry, which I like.
Loooove your floors!!
Love your floors too! And your globe collection! 🙂
I love furniture that tell stories, and yours are sweet indeed. I am also a fan of globes and love yours.
Oh pretty! I am having home envy looking at the gorgeous open layout.
Also love the globes and am in the process of collecting them myself.
hello….
nice to be part of this neighborhood 🙂
and thanks to show us your beatiful home!
Love the color combination in this room. It looks great.
I love your couches. They don’t match but they go together. I also love that they have a past that means a great deal to you and your family. Thanks for sharing!
