“”Autumn:The Year’s Last Loveliest Smile”

I took this picture while driving down the road enjoying the tree lined foliage ???

I swapped out my old door mat and wreath and added a potted plant to spruce up entrance way frugally

This wreath is made around a swim noodle :) I purchased it from Etsy

I set out some acorn garland and a shiny pumpkin in the living room to give a feeling of Fall ???

The dining room isn’t finished. I have a few things I’ve yet to do. I try not to get too Fall themed. I try to only put out things I truly love to embrace the season without breaking the bank. I think I’m making some progress??

I’ve been searching for healthy Fall dinners on Pinterest and trying new recipes in the evening.

I can’t wait to see what’s happening in your neck of woods!

Hi Nila, I love your small touches of fall around the house. That’s all you need! I’m definitely stealing your bow on the white pumpkin idea. I love those little white “gourds”. You are so far ahead of us here in CT with your fall leave colors!! Just beautiful but I dread when the leaves fall and the trees are bare It’s already getting dark so early!!

I have heard from my mom many times how bare the trees get in the NE. I was raised in FL and missed out on Fall my entire life, I am glad to be living now in the PNW to see the foliage and our winters are full of beautiful green trees as they are mostly gigantic Xmas Trees ! :D(Evergreens and Douglas Fir mostly)

Hi Nila! I think you are a bit ahead of us in terms of the changing leaves. I love the shot going down the street. The fall colours are so incredibly lovely! I have done a small amount of fall decorating so I should get my act in gear and take some pictures.
Isn’t the wreath creative!? So cute.
I like how you’ve created fall decor in white. It makes your home unique. It is also a great backdrop for the family picture. Handsome family you’ve got lady!
Nice job! It is Thanksgiving this weekend in Canada so Happy Thanksgiving! 🙂

Fall is my favorite time of the year! You’ve down a great job, Nila, of making your home all cozy for the season, to include delicious-looking stuffed acorn squash! Yum! I feel like I’ve FALL-en so far behind this year. On my drive from Germany back to Belgium yesterday, I noticed the leaves had already changed color significantly within only a week. I stopped by the local garden decor center to find something to FALL-ify my home, but was rather dismayed to find that most of this season’s decor items have already been replaced by Christmas decor! Arrghh!

I can’t wait to see what you post for the holidays, Germany has the BEST Christmas. I lived while and LOVED it. Gingerbread hearts, candles on the tree , caroling. etc… You are in an amazing place! Lucky lucky lady! Even if they are out of Fall décor! 🙂

HI Nila! Love your Fall ideas! Our leaves are slowly turning now. Can’t wait! Such a cute wreath!
I wish I had a mantle to decorate. I think the acorn garland and shiny pumpkin is the perfect touch!
    Thank you for sharing! 🙂

How utterly beautiful. The trees are changing colour slowly here but the little glimpses of colour are stunning. I love how you decorate for Autumn and may do that next year Somehow pumpkins are only used here at halloweeen (which I don’t like) and it isn’t a tradition to decorate at Autumn which is a bit of a shame. I may have to start a trend here 🙂
