I live just outside of Chicago with my husband and sweet puppy, Alice. I have a passion for interior design and love sharing it with others. You too? Let's be friends!
The tart tins are so cute and add texture and a vintage vibe as well. I wonder if you also like to bake…or was it the shape that drew you to them?
I am having trouble taking pictures that don’t get cut off when I upload them to a story. How did you take the picture of the table! Or how did you take a vertical picture of that wonderful saying that kept it from being cut off when you uploaded it? I really love that vignette by the way. π
Hi Nancy! I do actually love to bake, although it was the texture that drew me to them. Funny I didn’t even make the baking connection until you mentioned it here. π
I’m wondering if your pictures are too big and that’s why they are being cut off? Most of my pictures are sized to be a little smaller so they will fit nicely in my blog posts. Try resizing before you go to upload and see if that helps at all – totally guessing, technology is not my strength for sure. π
Oh – and I was just standing on a stool to get that overhead shot of the table. π
Thanks for the advice. It is dark here now so I will take some pictures tomorrow and see if resizing works. Climbing on stools is a bit beyond my old knees but I think I’ll suspend my kids next time they are over to visit and get some more interesting shots! Hope you are having a great day! π
Tonya, is that a metal sign hanging on the wall? If so, I can ask where you found that? I have seen ones similar to this on Fixer Upper and I fell in love. I have no clue where to find one. Yours is beautiful!
Those tins are darling, the sign is touching, and I think Joanna Gaines is going to have to give you a cut of her profits for steering us all to her shop. LOVE.
Hi Tonya, love those vintage tins! Smart idea!
Thanks Judy! Aren’t they just the cutest? π

Beautiful table setting!

Hi Wendy! I did in fact buy my sign from the Magnolia Shop. http://shop.magnoliahomes.net/collections/decorate/products/by-wisdom-sign
They have a few different ones to choose from – they are quite beautiful in person. Happy shopping!
Good Grief! I never thought to look at her shop! Thanks so much! I’m off to check them out!
